Sign in and secure your account

Sign in with an email code, passkey or connected account, then manage your username, email, two-step verification and active sessions.

Updated September 30, 2026

NOWScale does not use passwords. You sign in with a code sent to your email, a passkey, or a connected Google or GitHub account when those options appear on the sign-in page.

  1. Go to the Log in page and enter your email address.
  2. Select Continue. We send a 6-digit code to your email.
  3. Enter the code and select Verify. The code expires after 5 minutes. Select Resend code if you need a new one.

You can also select Sign in with a passkey, or Continue with Google or GitHub when shown. If you turned on an authenticator app, you then enter a code from the app or one of your recovery codes.

New accounts

After your first sign-in, you choose a username. It can have 3 to 30 characters: letters, numbers, dots and underscores. For security, some accounts are asked to verify a phone number with a code before choosing a username.

Manage your account

Open your account menu in the top right and select Settings, then Account. Settings opens over the page you are on.

SettingWhat you can do
Profile photoPick a ready-made avatar or upload your own photo.
UsernameChange your username. After a change, the next possible date is shown.
EmailSelect Change email. We send a code to your current email, then to the new one.
Phone numberReveal, edit or remove a verified number.
Active sessionsSee signed-in devices. Select Sign out for one device or Sign out all other sessions.

Language and time zone are under Preferences.

Add stronger sign-in methods

  • Passkeys: select Add passkey to sign in with your device biometrics or screen lock. Passkeys need a current version of Safari, Chrome or Edge.
  • Authenticator app: select Set up authenticator, scan the QR code, and enter the six-digit code. Save the recovery codes shown at the end. They are shown only once.

Workspace Owners and Administrators must have a passkey or an authenticator app.

Never share sign-in codes, recovery codes or private links with anyone, including in the support chat.

Trouble signing in

  • Code not arriving: check spam, confirm the email address, then select Resend code.
  • Too many attempts: request a new code and try again.
  • Passkey fails: update your browser or sign in with an email code.

Get help

If you lost access to your email or authenticator, contact our support team and select Talk to a person. Describe the step that fails and the error shown. Our team handles account recovery and requests to delete an account. Entering an email address in the chat does not prove you own that account.
