Create, schedule and track posts in Calendar

Create a post for one or more connected channels, publish it now or schedule it, and use Calendar to follow each destination's status and fix failures.

Updated September 30, 2026

Create posts in the composer and send them to one or more connected channels. Calendar shows everything you have scheduled or posted, including content your channels published outside NOWScale.

Create a post

  1. In the sidebar, open Calendar and select New post. You can also use the add button on a calendar day.
  2. Media: choose Video, Photos or Text. Text posts are for the Facebook Feed only.
  3. Destinations: select the channels in Publish to.
  4. Customize: complete the settings each platform needs, such as title, caption and visibility. Use Customize by account to give one account different settings.
  5. Schedule: set a Publish time (optional). Choose One time for all, or Use channel schedules to use each channel's posting time from the Connections page.
  6. Review: check every destination, then select Schedule post. Without a time, the button is Publish now.

You can select Save draft at any step. Times use the time zone shown under the date picker. To publish, you need the Publisher or Project manager role; Contributors can only save drafts.

Platform differences

PlatformYou can publishVisibility
YouTubeVideos and Shorts (a title is required)Public, Unlisted or Private
TikTokVideos and photo postsChosen in the TikTok settings
InstagramReels, feed photos, carousels and StoriesPublic only
FacebookPage videos, Reels, photos, text and StoriesPublic only

YouTube videos upload before their scheduled time as private copies and go live at that time, so you can still change the time. On other platforms, a post's date is locked once publishing starts. For TikTok, Send to TikTok drafts puts the video in your TikTok inbox, and you publish it in the TikTok app. Stories expire after 24 hours.

Select a post to open Post details. The Destinations section shows each destination's status and error message.

Fix a failed or missed post

  • Temporary problems, such as a platform's daily posting limit or a timeout, retry automatically. Automatic publishing stops after three attempts.
  • For a failed destination, fix the cause (for example, reconnect the channel or replace the media), then select Retry on that destination. For TikTok, select Review TikTok post.
  • Retry is offered only for failed destinations, so destinations that already published are not sent again.
  • For a missed post, open it and choose a new future time.
If a TikTok destination says NOWScale could not confirm whether TikTok accepted the post, retries are paused to prevent duplicates. Check TikTok and contact support before sending it again.

Change a scheduled post

Drag a post to another day, or right-click or tap it for Move to tomorrow, Move to next week, Edit, Duplicate and Delete. Drop a post on Unscheduled drafts to unschedule it. Deleting permanently removes the post from NOWScale and from supported platforms, and cannot be undone.
