Manage comments and set up AI Replies
Reply to and moderate YouTube, Instagram and Facebook comments in one inbox, and set up AI Replies to draft or send replies on YouTube.
Updated September 30, 2026
Comments brings conversations from your connected channels into one inbox. AI Replies can draft or send replies for you on YouTube, following rules you set.
What each platform supports
| Platform | Inbox and replies | Moderation | AI Replies |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube | Yes | Approve, Remove, Remove and ban author | Yes |
| Yes | Hide, Unhide, Delete | No | |
| Yes | Hide, Unhide, Delete | No | |
| TikTok | Not available | Not available | No |
If a channel needs to be reconnected, you can still read its comments, but replies and moderation stay off until you reconnect it.
Reply in the inbox
- Open Comments in the sidebar.
- Choose Needs reply, All comments or Moderation.
- Narrow the list with Channel, Platform, Sort or the search box.
- Open a conversation, write your reply and select Send reply.
- If a comment does not need an answer, select No reply needed. Use Reopen to bring it back.
Select Refresh to request a new sync. For help writing, select Draft with AI (the button shows the Token cost), edit the draft, then select Review and send. Nothing is posted until you send it.
Set up AI Replies
AI Replies requires a plan that includes it. Open Comments, then AI Replies. It has four sections: Overview, Queue, Setup and Activity.
- In Overview, turn on each YouTube channel you want AI Replies to watch.
- Open Setup and choose the channel.
- In Replies, choose Sending (Review first or Send automatically) and Comments to answer (Only new or New and older unanswered). Describe your voice and set Reply language and Sign-off.
- In Rules, turn on quick options such as Answer questions or Hold spam and links for review, or add your own under Advanced rules.
- In Knowledge, add facts the AI should know, such as your upload schedule.
- In Limits and safety, set Minimum confidence, Actions per day, Quiet hours and words it must never use.
- Select Save changes.
Turning on a channel does not add rules. AI Replies answers only comments that match a rule. Quick options run first, then your own rules in order, and the first match wins. With Send automatically, replies below your minimum confidence wait for review.
Each generated reply uses Tokens. Setup shows the current price. Reading and moderating comments uses no Tokens.
Review the Queue
Filter the Queue by Needs review, Scheduled, Sent or Skipped. For each draft, choose Approve and send, Edit, Reject or Try again (a new draft, which uses Tokens again). When editing, turn on Remember this correction to guide future replies.
Why a comment did not get a reply
| What you see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Needs review | A draft is waiting for your approval |
| Quiet hours | Replies wait until your quiet hours end |
| Daily cap | The channel reached its Actions per day limit |
| Out of Tokens | AI Replies is paused until your allowance renews or you add Extra Usage |
| Reconnect needed | Reconnect the channel in Connections |
| Skipped | The draft was rejected, or blocked by a safety check such as a blocked word |
| No draft at all | The comment matched no rule, or falls outside Comments to answer |
