Read your channel analytics

See which metrics Analytics shows for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, how to change the period, and why a value can be blank.

Updated September 30, 2026

Analytics shows how your content performed on the channels selected in your Workspace context. Each platform shares different data, so the page changes with the platform you choose.

Choose what you see

  1. Open Analytics in the sidebar.
  2. At the top of the dashboard, check the Workspace, Project and Selected channels. Analytics includes only those channels.
  3. Choose a Platform.
  4. Choose a Date range: 7 days, 28 days or 90 days.

YouTube

For every YouTube channel, you see:

  • An overview with Views, Watch time, Subscribers and Avg view duration, compared with the previous period. The chart shows the last day with data as Data through.
  • Top videos for the selected period.

With a plan that includes advanced analytics, you also get:

  • Traffic sources, with details for YouTube search terms, Suggested-video referrers and External sites or URLs.
  • Audience snapshot: age, gender, top countries, and subscribers compared with non-subscribers.
  • Viewing context: Content format mix (videos, Shorts, live) and Devices.
  • Video performance: select a video in Top videos to see its views over time, audience retention and traffic sources.

TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Analytics for these platforms requires a plan that includes advanced analytics. Without one, the page offers an upgrade.

PlatformWhat you see
TikTokFollowers, total likes, public videos, views gained, followers over time, and likes, comments and shares on your videos
InstagramFollowers, posts, accounts reached, interactions, views by surface (Reels, Feed, Stories, Ads) and follower demographics
FacebookFollowers, Page likes, videos tracked, views gained and followers over time

Each platform also shows Content performance, where you can rank content by Observed gains or Lifetime views and open an item for details.

TikTok shares public videos only. Audience, traffic source and retention reports are not available for TikTok. Instagram counts days in UTC.

Why numbers can be blank or differ

  • N/A means the platform did not provide that value. It is not zero.
  • For TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, daily trends are built from NOWScale's own tracking. Charts plot only observed days, and history starts when tracking starts.
  • When several channels are combined, audience counts are added per channel, so one person can be counted more than once.
  • A note such as "Results from 2 of 3 selected channels" means some channels did not return data.
  • Platforms define metrics differently, so compare figures within one platform rather than across platforms.
Reconnecting a channel fixes only authorization errors. It does not add metrics that a platform does not provide.

When a report fails to load

  • Couldn't load these analytics: select Try again.
  • Reconnect your channel: select Reconnect the channel and reconnect it in Connections.
